I have a 2.0 TDI Kodiaq Scout 4x4 and it's not due a service until November 2021. The last service was November 2019 so should I consider an oil and filter change? The vehicle has covered 46000 Kms in total so probably done half that since the last service.

Considering it is a pretty good idea and getting it done as well if you own the car.  And the Haldex needs serviced at 3 years or sooner and the brake fluid at 3 years if going by Skoda's recommendations.

Kodiaq has service interval of 15 / 30 000 km or once a year.

A Kodiaq has a service interval of  once a year only if it has been put on a Fixed Service interval of 372 days 15,000 km, otherwise on variable it is @24 months or the distance.  18,000 - 20,000 miles.  Or whatever in km.

30,000km maximum interval distance for cars using metric.

As you quoted what i posted you will see the start number is '18,000 miles there.

That is near enough the 30,000 km figure.   So if that is as far as you get km to get up to when in Imperial the indicators can let it be as much as 20,000 miles & near 32,000 km.

Same oil same engines and just one of these VW Group things.

 

Only the Citigo were put out in recent years without the choice of Variable /Flexible servicing.

Maybe in Estonia, but in UK there is a choice (full details page 32 of link)

 

Fixed every 10,000 miles or every year

Variable 9000-20,000 or upto 2 years
