Utter tosh handling

Featured Replies

My Fabia seems to go round corners fast enough for me to get a severe beating from the wife!

That's odd, mine does that too ;)

'Fraid I'm with Ann - yes it's not perfect but there's a lot of perfectly happy owners gone from quicker, more expensive machinery without problems, others chose the furby after direct comaprison to said machinery, myself included.

You obviously enjoyed the test drive to buy the car and as an experienced driver of above-average ability it should have been obvious from pulling out of the dealership that the suspension is biased towards comfort not racing. I personally drove the furby 4 times before purchase, as well as many other cars (CTR, Golf GTi, Octy vRS etc were all on the list). I then chose the one I personally preferred. I am not saying dynamically the furby is better than any or all of the above, simply that after serious consideration (the car is paid for so cost was not in the equation) I chose the furby because it offers a fantastic all-round package. It it not flawless by any means but to claim any aspect is 'utter tosh' seems a little rash.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but I can't help think that perhaps you like the car a little more than you're letting on, otherwise you wouldn't have bought it?

Well put Ste, I currently own a CTR which i've had for 3 years and will soon be part-exing it for a fabia vRS which, imo as an all round package is a fantastic car!:cool:
