When my wife tried to phone me today from her car, I could not hear her but she could hear me loud and clear. I have looked through all the menus on the car and cannot see any volume for the voice element of a phone call, which makes me think it must be the microphone has died. Has anyone had this issue before I start to look for the part to order and also I assume the microphone is next to the lights in the middle of the roof within the car.

 

Checked it with my mobile and had the same result as my wife and my phone  worked in my car today so now it is not the phone that is the issue. 

Yes, I have this intermittently, I can call someone just fine and then 5 minutes later I can’t hear them. I usually just turn the phone off and on again and it’s fine.
