Hi 

I drive a Skoda octavia  2.0 tdi 2012 car has done 120,000 miles. 

My central locking swith on cabin is faulty. 

Upon starting my car I can lock the door with this cabin central locking switch if I am stationary but once locked the switch does not unlock even with multiple attempts.

 

Any idea if the central locking switch is faulty or is it a different problem?

Most likely the switch. I've had to replace mine when I first purchased vehicle used.
