Due to mid seat belt got stuck and really tight after folding seats, I tried to remove bolt for mid seat belt but since the head was completely stripped i used a cutting socket to unscrew the bolt. That worked fine, at least to begin with. It actually got hold of the bolt but after a while it required more and more force and suddenly i heard a metallic crack and the bolt is now loose but still cannot remove it. Anybody know how bolt is attached? Is it a nut welded that bolt goes through? Because it feels that something is still attached to bolt since it is loose and I can wiggle it from side to side but cannot pull it out. Can it be accesed from under the car maybe? Anyone have any ideas/tip to share?

Did you have any luck with this as I’m having the same problem after folding my seats.

Well, in English, the visible bolt is attached to a captive nut inside the box section. What the OP did was force the bolt enough to break the captive nut loose.
