Anything I can do?

Just found that its storing completed work units, and keeping on processing, which is good. But it will mean sweet F.A. if I can't get it talking to the FAH server/s. It is set at the moment to "use internet explorer settings" but its not talking. The I.E uses a proxy address and port number to access the web, so not sure if this is relevant.

If I ever get it talking to the net, I'll be crediting a shedload to the team.

How long does it usually take to appear as my machine completed a unit today but the thing hasn't appeared today. Has been about 5 hours since it finished too :S

It takes about 9 hours to appear on the overclocking site. Check out the latest scoring on the team summary, and note time you access, and the time it last had a scoring. Usually say looking around 10pm, its got scores for up to 3pm. And at midnight I think it then brings up the 6pm scores, and so on.

My laptop is sending work units now, but its still got unit 02 in a queue and can;t send it. I noticed on the logs that current WUs are going to a slightly different IP address, so I can only assume its not able to send to 171.1544613435 etc. but is happily sending now at least.

It got sent just before midnight, must have been a busy day for the servers or something.

Hmmm. Mine decided it was going to re-download the client and start a new work unit about 10 steps away from completion.

The PC had hung (other software) and had to be rebooted which appears to be the root cause, as a couple of other things have behaved strangely since.

The worst bit was that it was a 400 point work unit:mad:

Back on track - I assume the laptop can upload other files to the internet, and there's no firewall rule anywhere that's stopping it?

Well, its still not sending its WU 02.... Not too fussed really as its at least processing them as they're completed now. This is my log, if it helps. As far as I can tell its getting current WUs and sending completed WUs to a different I.P address.

nope. Its sending fine to the current I.P. I can only assume the other one has been closed down or something by FAH?

Erm not sure if i was coming across as patronising :S

If not yeah on the console version run it with the -send all flag and it will attempt to send all the work units.

Yes..

its assigned server is .141 but it cant send to that or the .100 collection server :(

Edited: its randomly worked now..
