Fuel door doesn't lock

Featured Replies

Hi, I noticed that fuel door doesnt lock with the doors

But I can open the door and close it as usual without any problem

Can I do something to check/ fix it?

Must I replace any part?

I've replaced lots of fuel flap actuators in the past.

Can I replace this part myself?

Is it easy or needs a technician?

Does it need coding or something?

Have we got any part number to check it on Ebay ..?

Thanks

Is it a straight  swap?

Or needs coding ?

I had a failed actuator on my 2013 Mk3 Octavia. Bought part from TPS, but found one bolt to remove unit was only available by undoing wheel arch lining. Gave up and let my garage do it.
