I have a 2020 superb SEL amundsen system with built in sim card

when I go to media and click on inet and search for stations ut vine cackle with “internet stations not currently available”

should it be available via the inbuilt sim ir only through your phone hotspot?

I have solved this - well, so so. You need independent data connection. You can connect the system to your mobile OR pay Skoda's provider for the data package. This is not going to work otherwise. using my mobile data I can find every station i wanted plus long list of preloaded ones. I feel that it is cheaper to use own data rather than pay for Skoda's which comes for about £90/year for 60GB of data - if memory serves me well. 

You are right, the manual supplied is simply out of date = useless and the dealership - don't let me start...
