Toyota will not allow Toyota Dealers to sell a new car at the huge mark up.

Selling a used one is a different matter as they might as well as a private buyer might well do the same.

Then it has a former registered keeper.

Is the car they are advertising one they got as a Demonstrator, or are they going to sell several 'New Cars' that they have received to be 'Demonstrators.

George,

I to noticed the preregistered plus 750miles available 1/4/2021

I think Toyota would still be displeased at what they are up to.

& HMRC that is very nice to them when getting a car they are keeping for 3 months / 3,000 miles for customers to see and drive, and not for a showroom or compound to be kept as new and to make even more profit than usual on.

Lock Down will not be an excuse they will get away with.

Suzuki Dealers were rather sick at have to hand over new Jimny's to new owners who had already sold on at a good profit.

Some cars are just an easy profit maker if you can manage to order and receive them.

The Yaris GR is a future classic, but if Toyota turn out many thousands then maybe not so valuable in the future is supply is greater than the demand.

As it will be imported in limited numbers, I wonder whether 'preloved' (barf) prices will be higher due to speculators.

Given all the hype around the GR Yaris I think that's a given.

Good old capitalism, supply and demand. Joe Schmo can buy one, rag it then profit...but not the dealership which will be doing any warranty work.

As much as dealership staff will be mump and moan about warranty work it keeps them busy.  It is also not coming out of their pocket.     But then when the car Infront is a Toyota there really is much less Warranty repairs filling their workshops.     There will be Yaris GR,s getting ragged a bit but more will be getting cherished.    They will be like Focus RS where some get used hard when new but until they are in the hands of owners down the line is when they as are hammered.    There are some lovely Scoobies about and lots of ones with more noise than go.

Think the dealership/  stealers salesmen will be ragging the F... out of this demo , so I will now withdraw my generous offer of £25k for it

Warranty or no warranty

So car will have had 5 months of sales person ragging ,time waster petrol head planks and a few qenjine maybe if the price was right potential buyer or ******* with bottomless pockets who want to brag to his or her mates

It might well be a future classic but it'll tank in value for the first 10yr like any other mainstream model.

£40k for a Yaris!

Unless you desperately want to be the one and only owner in the book wait 18 months and pick it up for £25k if not lower.
