So. New oil pressure switch on, oil pressure warning still on, intermittently. Sump off tonight, pick up pipe strainer clean as a whistle. Gonna whip pump off tomorrow, anyone know specs for clearances on the gears wi s feeler blade? Or any other suggestions

 

Pressure tested at 60 psi on first start up then drop to 25 psi within 5-10 seconds on cold start by the way.

Not an electrical issue?

That's my thinking if I find nowt making oil pressure relief valve not seating properly. Has to check the strainer after all the horror stories of then blocking.

 

What's the purpose of the second switch below the oil pressure switch?

Rebuilt, bang on spec, 2 bar at 2k and "over pressure at 3700" 4 bar.
