Description:

The ultimate sleeper! Phenomenal and incredibly rare supercar.

I've recently had my 2016 Superb Estate professionally upgraded to Stage 2. DRW Performance (Knowsley) did the work and Unicorn Developments (Stockport) did the mapping of the engine and DSG box.

It's been on the dyno and is running at 424bhp with 414lbft of torque.

0-60 has been timed at 3.7s although a better driver may get that down to 3.5s. 100-200kph in under 10 seconds. Top speed possibly in excess of 180mph.

This is the ultimate sleeper and has left many supercars in it's wake!

I absolutely love it but unfortunately I no longer have any sort of commute and feel I don't get the opportunity to use it to it's full potential. The costs don't justify me keeping it, as all I'm doing is using it as a run around with all my tools in.

It's done quite a few miles (83k) of which 40k of those I've done since I bought it in Feb 2019. Because of this, I've put it up for £18,500. Any of you that have looked on Autotrader for a 280 Estate know that you'll be lucky to find anything close to £20k, just for a standard one. I think it is a fantastic bargain for any 280 lover who is looking for something truly special and incredibly rare.

Nice clean car!

Have you got the standard cat-back exhaust?  if so I'm impressed with the power and doesn't seem as restrictive as previously thought

Hi, Other than the Miltek downpipe, the rest of the exhaust is standard. It's tremendous fun, as I'm sure you'll know with yours! 480 brake is a lot!!

TBH 480bhp is overkill!  I wish I did a stage 1 or maximum stage 2 as currently the car is ridiculously fast, there is never enough road and also there no safe place to put the foot down unless its on the motorway and you are overtaking.

Yours is tuned to the perfect level as I would say 400 - 430bhp is plenty for the road.  My mistake was I always desired a car which was as fast RS3/4/ M3 however could never afford one of those.

in hindsight I wish I had saved the money! lol oh well

Good luck with the sale.
