Retrofit Cruise control for car with Speed Limiter

Featured Replies

Hello dear Forum,

I did some research and I found some nice post with discussions about retrofitting the tempomat/cruise control in a Fabia 10/2014 with only speed Limiter install. I think the best feedback is the user @wirer and his personal blog that thanks to google I could translate to English :-).

if you have speedlimiter, you can add tempomat...

what you need?

- new trim - 6C0 953 501 P / 6C0 953 513 F

- SWAP code - 5E0 054 800

my instructions in Slovak: https://wirer.php5.sk/tempomat/

The real deal here, is if that part number that Wirer mentioned works also for a car of 10/2014  and if indeed the Skoda dealers will code with the Swap the CC to my car. For example I found the combination 6C0953501K/ 6C0953513F to buy online but not sure if the variant K is also suitable.

On the BCM side I just discover that I have the model ending in 89B, and that one according some googling (is also used in the Polo facelift 2014) should be able to support the cruise control.

I guess the most difficult part is to get this stalks coded by Skoda when they did not even install them. Anyone having experience with the activation in Germany?

Thanks again in advance!
