Hello everyone! 2016 SuperB motorized tailgate problem. When I open it, it opens but does not close. Neither with the button on the door or the middle button on the remote control. A VagCom test will only find a fault if I force the door closed. It works many times in a row after clearing the error. If I wait a few minutes and open it, it won’t close again. It was as if his controller had gone crazy. I made basic settings, no improvement. Thanks.

Morning all, I have the same problem with mine. I opened it last night and when it reached the top it beeped and then would not close remotely but continued to make the beeping noise which appeared to be coming from the area of the boot lock. I had to manually close the tailgate. 

 

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to rectify it? A search of the forums on the Octy 3 side suggest that it could be the micro switch in the boot lock playing up?

Hello! I still haven't solved the problem. When I want to close, I just click the engine. Try it, put the ignition on after pressing the button! It will work again in 1 minute. Then when I try, it always works. In 5 minutes it won't work again, unless I turn on the ignition again ...
