Anyone fitted brighter boot light bulbs (led?), but not the whole fitting from Superskoda? Any recommendations?

 

Yes, whilst they are better they are nowhere near as bright as the superskoda ones (which I now have)

 

Brighter bulbs were the way to go for me on my estate.

Vinnie Hemmings, he’s on this site somewhere. Very reliable, plug & go, no errors / coding needed. The pic I took was in total darkness, the only illumination including on the rear bodywork were from the boot lights not street lights. 

The 2020 my has LEDs in the tailgate now, shoukd be able to get those I woukd have thought

I've got these fitted in my boot and they're bright! Not sure how they compare to the SuperSkoda or the ones from Vinnie, but they're a lot brighter than the standard ones. No errors, no issues, just replace the bulb.

I used these to replace the OEM bulbs in my estate tailgate lights. Big improvement.

I'm looking at maybe adding extra lights inside the boot as well - where the hatch has them. Not sure if the estate has wiring in situ for extra lights or not. Bit of investigation needed - when the weather gets warmer!   

I used some of these LED's in the door lights as well (same fitting). They are a tight fit though & they may be a tad too bright as the red rear reflector are looking a bit pink.
