  1. @SC03OTT perfect, that works! 👍🏻 @MarkyTDI the Mk3 Octavia VCDS tweaks linked above work on a superb and with OBD11 so you should be set once your unit arrives.
  2. Where is that option on VCDS? I'd seen something similar a few years ago for the Mk3 octavia but I've not found that post again and not been able to find anything searching the superb forums either 😕
  3. I have all 3 of those options fitted on my 2016 SE-L but I'm unsure if they're standard on that model. Are you looking at new or used? Whatever option you're going for it should say or you should see what it has fitted, and if the new base SE-L doesn't have it you can spec it to have whatever you want on the configurator.
  4. I know on the earlier models it depended on what trim level you had as to if the inner/extended/tailgate lights actually light up. For example, my 2016 SE-L does have those bits light up, but I'm sure the trim levels below that don't light up. @Legacy On your car, do those inner bits light up with dipped lights on?
  5. Pull the indicator stalk down 😉 NB only works intermittently
  6. I've got a 2016 SE-L model WITHOUT the canton upgrade and I've no complaints with the audio quality. I've had an octy vRS with the canton speakers and really can't tell much difference between that and my current car; granted they've not been compared side by side but the bass is deep enough in my superb without needing an additional sub. For reference, I listen to a lot of heavy metal/rock type of music, so lots of guitars and drums blasting away and my equaliser settings aren't heavily adjusted to give me the sound that I like. What was it about the sound that you didn't like? Just the level of bass?
  7. For reference, I'm 6ft 5 in an SE-L exec without sunroof, have no issues with headroom. I have electric, full leather seats, all the way back in a fairly upright position. Is there anything that could be stopping your seat going all the way down? Can you measure the height from the base of the seat to the roof to see how much room there is?
  8. WLAN uses either a sim card or tethered to your phone as a mobile WiFi hot spot. I can use my phone as a mobile hot spot for my superb to connect to, and then people in the car can connect to the car for the WiFi (but it's just as easy to connect to my phone if that's what I'm using). As far as I'm aware, it doesn't offer any other advantage of playing music, or playing media onto the car, just as a means of offering internet to occupants of the car.
  9. That's where they were in my mk3 octy; 2 little holes with bulbs in near the front spotlights. I'm guessing the housing is going to be different for the karoq and the superb so not a swap job either.
  10. It'll be interesting to see if this is an option! I had a Mk3 Octy vRS which had them and I quite liked the look when driving at night. It's not a necessity to have in my Mk3 Superb but it would be nice to have, even if I have DSG and have no reason to be looking at the gear stick area 😂
  11. That's less faff required then! Rears are only required at the minute so not having to remove the carrier will help save a bit of time.
  12. Never knew that! I thought it would be a a case with all cars that the carrier would need to be removed. So before I take the wheels off soon to change the brakes, what do I need to be aware of? Do I just put EPB in service mode, take the wheel off, take the caliper off to change pads, and then just undo the disc and remove? I thought I'd got this all planned out with what I needed to do 😂
  13. Here's the video. He's working on an Audi A6 but the procedure should be the same. It's a long video but very informative. I'm going to be doing my rear discs and pads after being quoted over £300 for new when I've just purchased Brembo discs and pads for £77, I already own OBDeleven and I've got access to all the tools required.
  14. From videos I've seen, even with VCDS/OBDeleven/etc putting the EPB into service mode, you still need a rewind tool to push the cylinder all the way in to accommodate the new pads. I'll try and find the video I watched.
  15. I've got these fitted in my boot and they're bright! Not sure how they compare to the SuperSkoda or the ones from Vinnie, but they're a lot brighter than the standard ones. No errors, no issues, just replace the bulb.
