DriveGreen - High score / lower MPG - 2.0TDI /2018

Featured Replies

I have noticed when driving, it I am very gentle and get a high Greenscore (96-100) I am returning a lower MPG (say 33mpg urban), on the same run, in the same conditions (engine temp etc) if I ignore GreenDrive and drive more "normally" - a bit quicker acceleration, but probably more time of the accelerate as you so downhill / up to junctions, the display shows that I am returning around 40mpg.

How are others getting o?

I find I get the same mpg from the Normal setting as I do Economy.

I think my driving style means I drive the car harder in Eco mode, so it doesn't give me the benefits others see.

You've hit the mail on the head. Ignore the green score it's so random as to be useless.
