Having just bought a 2015 Octavia with no spare wheel will a 205 55 16 from a pre 2013 Octavia fit, I notice there is a slight difference in offset?

The Octavia MK2 6.5Jx16 ET50 rim with 205/55R16 tyre can be used as a spare instead of the standard Octavia MK3 6.5Jx16 ET46 rim with 205/55R16 tyre.

 

ET50 moves the centre of the rim 4mm towards the centre of the car compared to an ET46 rim.

 

It's a lot better than using a space saver.
