Does anyone else have USB connection problems with Android Auto with Xiaomi phones on Columbus?

Sometimes it is randomly connecting-disconnecting, then my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro screen is flashing constantly.

Cable is perfect.

I am also having sometimes disconnection problems via bluetooth.

I would appreciate some Xiaomi owners feedback.

Generally speaking mine connects ok with cable but yes sometimes it loses connection but quickly returns.

As to Bluetooth I, and others, I've spoke to have problems in that it seldom connects automatically. I have to go to phone selection to make it connect virtually every journey. I'm not sure that's specific to Xiaomi though ...

Same here with the Bluetooth, every journey I have to activate it manually. Very annoying since I have an app to register the mileage to declare the cost to my employer. By USB the same connects but, in my case, losing GPS quite often.

I have to connect Bluetooth every trip manually with my Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G (which I like a lot). By cable it is ok, no flickering or anything

Mines connects fine without USB however when I try using Spotify or BBC sounds it says temporarily unavailable. 

If I use my phone to plays them it works fine through cars radio. 

No idea what problem are as I've tried all the solutions I've read online.
