Im back with a skoda!

Featured Replies

Hi,

Im new obviously and this is my first post. Just saying hello to everyone.my first car was a k reg Skoda GLX1 estate in reddy brown colour. Paid £75 quid, tyre was flat and needed the exhaust fixing - it had been neglected and sat around for 3 months! Its started first time! Sold!

MOTd it, new tyre and middle section of the exhaust and a full valet and machine polished twice (by me) and it was one of the mintest looking bangers around !! I actually loved that car and at the time being young and having a fitty in the passenger and having one of the finest paint jobs around got loads of stares and smiles!

I was saving up for a modified MK3 Golf from a friend so when I had raised the big money at the time (to me) for the Golf I sold the Skoda for £250 4 months later.

Ive only owned VAG group cars all my life - now Ive bought a mint Fabia VRS 2005 which has been put back (nearly) to mint condition plus its had a respray. Its a run around but with all my previous run arounds I want to keep it tip top and probably map and improve the handling. I have a modified TTS just shy of 400 hp 420lbs as my other car (just got my license back previously had an RS6 and a brilliant 2005 VW 1.6 banger as a runaround).

I heard Celtic tuning do a decent map for this car.

Anyway thought I would say hi and have a nice day x

Welcome back, and it's good to see people showing the love for the older MK1's. Enjoy!
