No, but we are getting the 310HP one and it's cheaper than a VRs Kodiaq is.
I was more meaning Skoda is still the poorer little brother as can't even get the 310HP motor for anything, and Seat is also allowed the 5 pot 390 which I think is the first car they have have put that in. Be crazy if that under cuts the Kodiaq VRS in price in Europe, as they seem to pay a lot more than we do for them.

It's being tuned to 385bhp (390PS) with 0-100kph in 4.2 seconds.

The 280 would’ve been nice to have in the Kodiaq RS, then you can tune it back up to 360+ bhp with a stage 1 tune but VW says no...

Yes, I had that engine in my Passat and it was enough so Kodiaq wouldn't be far off in performance.

It's what the police will have here soon in their Superbs so not sure why the top Kodiaq can't have it too. The Superb Scout even has it.

In Europe they actually do make a 206kW TSI Kodiaq for emergency services only: Skoda unveils emergency Kodiaq you can't buy (motor1.com)

If there are Kodiaq's with the Police in the UK with this 280ps TSI's they might well be coming on the market eventually having been disposed of at auction someplace 4 years on, unless they have to go back to Skoda UK.

(The one in the picture at the top of the article wearing the Fire Rescue livery is a TDI)

well after a lot of messing around and no answer when the kodaiq will arrive I cancelled it. Went and bought this instead, ended up having to put in less of a deposit and the monthly payments are less than the kodaiq I ordered. Pick up on Saturday can't wait. (it not this car as the one we have ordered has a black interior but everything else inc colour is the same. Thanks for all the help guys

yes it is. I know there history but not really any other local dealer for Jaguar so fingers crossed

Having had a few friends and neighbours with F-Pace, I hope you have more luck than they had with theirs. Did you have a look at the F-Pace owners forum before buying it?

Did you go for a 180 or 240?
