I am looking for info, I have a 2012 Octavia vRS black which has the amundsen+ radio, am I right in saying that I just need to purchase a microphone to connect to enable phone connection ? Do they already have the module? Looking at the MAC address on the unit it has lots of different numbers and not zeros.

I have someone with vcds who can enable the system.

Any info/links to an up to date seller etc would be amazing.

Plenty on eBay if you look for RNS 315 mic. The only obvious UK seller is this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203128544900

 

There are some in Europe and China for cheaper but it'll depend how quickly you want it to arrive

 

Given the mac isn't 00:00:00:00:00:00, that suggests it has a BT module built in and just needs activating. You can also activate BT before you fit the mic as your phone should connect but obviously nobody will hear you on calls

It’s been so frustrating to have a Bluetooth button and it do zilch😒 I’m assuming it’s just a case of using the vcds to activate the Bluetooth 🤞🏻
