Tested the wheel bearing...

Featured Replies

Decided to see if the noise "it's not a wheel bearing" had actually been fixed by replacing 2 wheel bearings.

Pretty confident that its fixed.

Of course this trip did raise some interesting problems.

I cannot believe where they managed to get into. All through the engine bay, trapped behind the mudguards. But I've sorted a solution for future trips... Aluminium 4x8mm mesh, using 4x screws and 15x2mm cable ties

I am happy to say the Superb coped well in the Aussie west, sitting on 120kmph in 37c heat. I was comfortable and the temp gauge never moved, even after the locusts clogged everything up.

Camped in the back. My 173cm height fitted remarkably well.
