Turn off single door unlocking, not working?!

Featured Replies

Having to always remember to double-click the key is really doing my head in, and I'm looking for a sure-fire way to turn it off. Unfortunately I don't have a maxidot, or I could just do it in there.

I've tried with Carista, and although it says the setting has applied, it doesn't make a difference. I've also tried with OBDEleven - same thing, the setting appears to be correct, but still only the driver door will unlock.

Based on the above I'm a bit dubious whether VCDS will work either, and I'm loathe to have to take it to a dealer and pay £££ to get a basic setting changed, is there anything else I can try to DIY before resigning myself to getting a pro to do it?

If anything, I'd rather put the money I would otherwise pay a dealer to do it towards retrofitting a maxidot instead! :D

Thanks all
