Wet drivers footwell

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I'm new to this. So, drivers footwell is well saturated but no sign of water entering via windscreen or door seals. Just very wet in footwell and directly under the pedals. Could this be something to do with air conditioning leakage? A/c works fine. Octavia estate 2016 65 plate 1.4tsi SE L model.

Thanks.....Wick

Many  threads on this subject.  Just do some searching in this forum. Biggest culprit seems to be the pano roof drains.

Are you loosing any coolant?  I am thinking leaking heater matrix.  What is the smell of the liquid?

@ordsalso mentioned sunroof - do you have a sunroof?

No sunroof, and l can't smell anything that points to anything specific. Someone did mention that Seats had same problem which was down to the oulet pipe from the air con unit not being connected properly in manufacture

Not sure it applies here though

Thanks for this info
