Retro-fit DCC suspension; is it possible?

Featured Replies

Hey all

Forgive this post if the answer is obvious, I'm rather naive when it comes to stuff like this.

I have a 2013 mk3 Elegance and, like many of us, I find the hard ride one of its few negatives.

There are quite a few mk7 Golf DCC suspension set ups kicking about now and I wondered how difficult it would be to retrofit this to a pre-FL, where DCC wasn't an option,.

If not...Bilstein/Eibach it is!

Cheers in advance

It would be cheaper to just buy a car with it fitted. There will be the cost of the control units to be upgraded etc. Then the cost of the dcc system itself. You will get a similar result if you can get Koni FSD for your car. Had them on my Fabia VRS alomg with eibach springs. Very comfortable for day to day driving. Plus firm up when needed on cornering or braking heavy to limit wieght transfer.
