Choosing rain sensor for retrofit

Featured Replies

I need help choosing the correct rain sensor. I currently have no sensor installed on my car, manual air conditioning. So I would need to run all new cables as well. But I have read that not all rain sensors work.

All these are fitted to Oct III, would all of these work if I only want to use them as rain sensor and light sensor for CH/LH as well?

5Q0 955 559 A    Rain sensor
5Q0 955 547 A    Rain and humidity sensor
5Q0 955 547 Rain and humidity sensor

Thanks in advance.

From your other thread, we know your BCM is:

Address 09: Cent. Elect. (J519) Labels:| 5Q0-937-08X-HV1.clb
   Part No SW: 5Q0 937 086 AA HW: 5Q0 937 086 AA
   Component: BCM PQ37BOSCH 028 0106

Quick google shows an Octavia with the same BCM and 5Q0 955 547 A fitted: https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/5392/#post-52501

So that's what I'd try first :)
