Just wondering if anyone has replaced their cylinder head on the asz 1.9 pd engine and any pointers , I have read that the AMC make is of good quality.

The firm I worked for replaced quite a few castings warped beyond repair on PD's, mostly taxis, and found all the pattern Chinese castings to be excellent, in the case of the Land Rover TD5 head the Chinese pattern castings were hugely superior to the OEM castings which seemed to be made of Aero chocolate sprayed silver.
