Infotainment software has been updated to 1896, which appears faster, some changes to menu layout, and thus far, travel assist problems appear sorted.  Niggles with wireless Apple CarPlay connections also seem to have resolved as being unable to adjust the lights for driving on the left and right.

Hi

Where do you find the info software release number.

Can u check what Sat Nav Database release you now have please - mine recently went to 22/3.

Fantastic! Hopefully it's all sorted for you. I'm on software version 1803, so I'll be calling the dealer to see if they'll book me in tomorrow.

So…looks like the swapping speed signs to kph has been fixed, but two instances of ACC stopping me from overtaking today.  However, tapping the accelerator led me to proceed as needed and it did not reoccur.  Previously, it would keep doing this for a period of time.

Update: wireless Apple CarPlay would not reconnect and so I did a soft reset.  This led my phone to reconnect fine, but sent travel assist into meltdown and it started to cycle between kph and mph with speed signs changing on the display. A few more soft resets while on the fly sorted it.  So, while the update is certainly an improvement, still not perfect.

How do you do a soft reset?

Re- KPH / MPH on virtual display - it has been over 3 months since my "fix" (no idea what was done) and I'm happy to report I have not seen the problem since.

HOWEVER, I now get a new "bug" which is related I think.   Having set my max speed alert to 75mph, I now get a message showing 120KPH instead of 75 mph.

Related info to be shared:

I've had small 3 software updates over the last 2 week (May/22) over the internet which proves that it's working, HOWEVER, my release number is still set as 0276, which I assume is not as up to date as it should be based on a recent post showing release as 0278.

As usual there is NO info on what has been fixed in the release notes.

Hold down the power button continuously until you see the startup screen

I’ve never set a speed alert for the car…not sure if mine does that.  Travel assist was useless before the 1896 software update.  Seems to work much better now, but still some minor bugs, especially for wireless CarPlay which used to work fine with my car.
