Just been driving my fabia and felt vibration in the steering wheel followed by and clunking noise. 
 

it’s mainly after I change gear to 2nd or 3rd and bring the clutch up. It also is making a strange screeching noise when accelerating in 2nd and 3rd.

 

I've recently had the Sachs performance clutch with sintered drive plate installed. It’s a 1.2tsi 2015 running stage 2 155bhp and 195ftlbs

 

im just wondering if anyone has any ideas what it could be before I take it to the mechanic.

Check the 3 drivetrain mounts, engine side, gearbox side and dogbone. Could be worn or not reinstalled correctly
