Window weather seal replacement

Featured Replies

On all my windows the rubber seal at the bottom under the chrome trim has cracked and looks terrible. How do I go about replacing them myself? and any idea of the part number?

Cheers.

Did you ever sort this out?

The trim(and seal) is relatively easy to remove, just pry and lift,  but I can't find the replacement part

Hey @Aaron_S@mbSuperb, is it literally that easy?  Are they a combined item.

I'm going to try and look up the part number on lllparts.co.uk isometric/sectional drawings.  Is that the outer chrome covered seal that me and @Aaron_S are trying to replace?  https://www.lllparts.co.uk/product/3T0837475A/window-aperture-seal

Yeah, I  bought new ones and changed them in 30min, pry with a plastic butter knife or something, or buy specialized tool but for one change it seemed unnecessary in my case.

Found them on http://skoda-parts.com/

3T0 837 475 A

3T9 839 475

3T9 839 476

3T0 837 476 A

But make sure they fit your model of course

Hey @mbSuperb I was going to enquire what a PR:4ZE and PR:4ZB on lllparts.co.uk too 🤣🤣🤣 As that confuses me!

I've got a 2014 Combi (3T5) Superb 2.0TDI 4x4 DSG L&K...So we all know that'll be the most expensive part possible in the range.

🤪🤪🤪

My missus does all the interior and exterior trim works and has all the necessary tools!
