Not sure what you are asking... is there a typo in your post?

If you have an order number and build week, your car should be  built in the week commencing 5th April. It will then have to wait for a train to Emden in Germany (the port used by VAG for transporting their cars in and out of mainland Europe. It then waits for a car transporter ship to bring it to the UK (probably Immingham or Grimsby if you ordered it in Derbyshire).  My car took about three weeks to get from the factory to my dealer last October/November, but covid lockdowns in Europe could affect this.

Your dealer should keep you up to date with its progress (although mine didn't) or you can contact Skoda UK via their Twitter DM or their website for updates.

You can get a headstart on familiarising yourself with your new car by downloading a copy of the owners manual from here: ŠKODA Owner's Manuals (skoda-auto.com) Note this is useful even when you get your car, as the paper copy in my car at least had little information about the infotainment system and just referred me to the downloaded copy!

Hi

If you go here and scroll down you will see the chat option.

The people here will be able to check where in the process your car is.

You can also save the conversation - for future reference - which can be very handy at times!

Skoda UK contact page

Or as soon as you go to the Skoda.co.uk homepage, you get some irritating heads appearing in the bottom right, who ask if you have any questions for them.

Good morning. I have ordered a new Skoda Karoq .order number 31031242.it is at the moment on the docks at ended, ingermany. Can you tell me what ship it will be transported on to Grimsby. Regards Bill Yates

According to www.marinetraffic.com the Weser Highway is en-route for Grimsby at present, while the other ships I have seen VAG use between Emden and Grimsby/Immingham have been reassigned to other routes. So your car will either be on the Weser Highway or waiting for it to return in a few days time!

(The other ships are Main Highway and Neckar Highway, with City of Rotterdam carrying cars from Emden to Sheerness for the south of the UK.)

Sorry Dalston, I have no details about how many cars they carry on the Weser Highway, And the cars are moved to a compound beside the docks waiting for a dealer to arrange a car transporter to come and pick his cars. So your dealer should be able to tell you if he's been told your car is now in the UK, and when he will be getting it shipped to him. Then he has to do his pre-delivery checks before you can collect it.

Hello Chris.

I have now had  delivery of my new  Skoda karoq, lovely car, sales man couldn't take me through the specific items in the car, because of the corona virus. My only query is with my previous car, a Hyundai Tucson,  I could  split  the screen, to show me the radio station and the  Sat Nov at the same time, any ideas. Not the  end of the world if we can't. It's just what you get used to. Regards Bill

On our 2019 model I can have a block overlay with the radio station name but it’s none too subtle and for me pointless.

Accessible via the ‘View’ menu on the Navigation screen - ‘split screen’ and then ‘audio’........

Happy driving!

If you have the 'virtual cockpit' option you can leave the central display showing the radio stations, and have the map in the instrument panel. Otherwise I think you can display the active radio station in the analogue instrument panel and the map on the central display.
