Fuel filler neck pipe.

Featured Replies

Hi when I filled up today I noticed a slight puddle of fuel under the car ive checked all the pipes and tank and it appears its coming from the fuel filler neck right up near the top where the fuel goes in so im assuming the pipe has gone on it does anyone know where i could buy a replacment from please ???

The pipe attached to the back of the small drain hole just under the screw cap has become detached.

Take out the arch liner and reattach it, like I had to ....

That drain hole is supposed to drain onto the ground, isn't it?

Guess do yes all I can say is it is right up the top of the filler neck where it leaked from is there some sort of seal or rubber pipe at the top end that could have leaked im a bit stuffed atm as I have a tank full of fuel

Did you splash some fuel outside the filler neck, into that drain hole area?

Some did drivble out as I pulled the pump gun out but it seemed to be a lot on the floor for what splashed out I did totally fill the tank

Might have been a puddle there already from a previous customer.

No the guy was there cleaning the pumps after use and he noticed and told me because I was not allowed to start my car I had to be pushed out the petrol station before I was allowed to start it up lol.
