Strange letter from DVLA

Featured Replies

...through the door this morning, stating that a parking attendant or local warden had seen my vehicle with belongings left on show and reminding me of the need to conceal it all!

Now, I'm a bit anal about hiding everything out of site so I can only assume it was SWMBO but I've never heard of these letters before...has anyone else had one?

Saw a news article on it. It is to do with making the public respect traffic wardens more.

 Perhaps swmbo was driving naked and got spotted...

nah, if that was the case you'd have a letter from the RSPCA regarding the beaver that was left in the car.

Luckily I'm at work and SWMBO won't be reading this ! Otherwise I'd be getting a slap round the back of the head.

 - no more beaver talk :P

You'd of got a bigger slap if I'd said they wrote to you about the dog in the car !

Brazilian Beaver:eek:

(DUCK!!):D

Our new cars been sat at the dealers for 2 weeks because the DVLA cant sort out the ****in personal plate transfer. They are obviously too busy doing other things or worrying about loosing their pensions & YES IM BLOODY ****ED OFF so apologies to anyone who works for the DVLA but PLEASE PULL YOUR FINGER OUT.

Haven't received such a letter, but I am worried now in case they spot misc wrappers etc and think I'll chuck them out of the window (like everyone else does, tsk.)

Must add "rubbish holder" onto the wish-list thread... or just chuck out the culprits Mwahahahaha. Might have a driverless car though :o
