Alarm activates when dogs left in car.

Featured Replies

When the dogs are left in the car the alarm acvtivates when they move. My wife says it didn't used to happen when we first got the car 8 years ago. Any ideas how to stop it happening please?

If you feel down the B pillar (between the front and rear doors) behind the driver's seat there should be a button at about thigh height which disables the "in cab" alarm pro tem.

To use it press it once as the last thing before closing the door and locking the car.  It should disable the internal sensors until the next unlock.

Thanks Mike, that's great. We don't normally leave the dogs in the car (because the alarm goes off) but we've just booked a holiday in Dorset and will be taking them with us, so it will be useful to be able to leave them in sometimes.

Thanks very much for your help.

You can also double click the remote when locking it, the 2nd click deactivates the internal sensors.

I didn't know that - thanks!
