Afternoon all,

 

I am having a bit of trouble with my Skoda Fabia mk1 1.4 I have recently bought. The gear stick is very loose and vague meaning that it is a real struggle finding 3rd gear from 2nd. Also it sticks when you push it from side to side in neutral. I.e. in neutral, push to the left, take my hand off and rather than bouncing back to neutral it sticks to the side.

You need to reset the linkage, there is a guide on here if you search for it.
