Hi all. 

 

This has probably been asked before but my 2016 190tdi in for its 5 year cam belt/water pump change and the dealer scanned the car and seems my air quality sensor is playing up. They are asking for £150. I was wondering if anyone has done this? Is it easy to fit and does anyone know the part number ? Any help would be welcome.

It’s under the scuttle panel on the passenger side. Ask the dealer for the price of the part on its own. I can’t remember exactly but thinks it’s around £80

i had this a year or two ago. its a hella part, 50 quid off the internets...

its a two second job to replace it

 

if you have air circulation set to ¨auto¨ this controls whether or not it takes in external air (I believe) so worth replacing

Interesting as my 66 reg had this as an error a while ago. Not happened since clearing error codes. Will see if I can see it now there's a clue, thanks to @tmg and @UndertheRadar
