Can't find comfort module in a Skoda Octavia II Facelift 2010 car

Featured Replies

Hello,

Does anyone knows where is comfort (convenience) module in a Skoda Octavia II Facelift 2010 car.

I have removed storage compartment on the front passenger side, but couldn't find it.

Please help

Many thanks

You won't find it as such as it is now a combination CCM and CECM

classed as a BCM

it is on the drivers side in the footwell area, you will see relays and 3x large plugs that plug in to it

I was able to locate the module,

last question if I replace module with new already used one do I need to program or adjust the new module to my car? or swap the devices and that's it? thanks

If you replace the BCM, you'll need to recode it and check the adaption channels. You'll also need to pair the remote fobs too.

If the BCM isn't from a similar Octavia, you might also need to have the lighting configuration fixed using VCP or ODIS (not VCDS).
