Location of fuel filter?

Featured Replies

I have a 2016 1.2 TSI (petrol) Rapid spaceback. Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located? I've been all over the underside of it and can't find it for love nor money!!

It’s underneath the car, drivers side, about a foot ahead of the rear wheel. Changed mine last month. Very easy to access and change once the car is jacked up or on a ramp.

Thanks for the swift reply - that's the first place I looked as that's where they generally are and I couldn't see anything remotely like it. Did you have to remove any kind of cover or anything?

Mine is the 6 gear 110ps engine - space back SE Tech. What variant have you got please?

I faintly remember that some recent petrol cars may have it inside the tank?

I was beginning to wonder if it was something like this because we've had it on a ramp and removed the only cover that looked likely to be covering it and there is no fuel filter that I can see! Would that be a fit for life part then? (I had a Focus that had a lifetime fuel filter which I curiously only found out was lifetime after I'd bought a replacement!?)
