New Scala owner - couple of questions

Featured Replies

Hi. I've just bought a 2019 Scala - 1.5 TSi DSG and quite impressed. Only 1 niggle and a couple of queries:

Only issue (which I did not notice during test drive) is a knocking from rear passenger side. I have removed everything from the boot including wheel, parcel shelf, warning triangle etc and knocking still there. It only appears at low speed at the start of the journey and then ceases after 5 minutes. Anybody else experience this?

How do I know which infotainment system I have? I understand these all have ridiculous names but I can't work out which is mine.

Also, the car is an ex-demo model and only done 8,700 km in 2 years. I bought it from Das Welt Auto so it is a certificated ex-VAG group car so I ASSUME it has been looked after. How do I know  for sure if it has had an oil service in that time? I can't find anything on Skoda Connect. I asked the dealer but he just said the car is perfect. Difficult buying a car when you are in a foreign country and don't speak the language!

Thanks

Great looking Scala, congratulations!

If you look in the vehicle data on the infotainment system it should tell you when it’s next due a service, which should give you a clue as to when it was last serviced/inspected. I own a 2 year old Scala, which I bought at 8 months and it had an oil service at 12 months, and I’ve just given it it’s second last week.

Ask the dealer for a service print out do you have satellite navigation on your informant if you do it’s a Amundsen if not it’s a Balero
