Twin coffee cups to fit the cup holder

Featured Replies

Hi, I've had my 1.6 Estate Greenline for a week now. It's my first Skoda and very pleased so far.

But the coffee cup situation? Yegads. It's so bad the lady wanted to buy something else! Skoda designers, if you're reading this....what were you thinking...??? It's one of the most spacious estates in its class, how was this beyond you..??

Anyway, with one three year old and a one year old, long journeys mean we both need our coffee.

We can't even fit one of our tall Bodum cups into this ridiculous excuse for a holder. Any suggestions out there? Different cups? Or is there something that we can fit to the cup holder to make it expand to fit two? NOT keen on air vent type flimsy attachments.

Here's hoping....

Speaking from an Octavia POV, the branded Skoda mug fits like a glove. I’d be surprised if the Superb has different sized cup holders.

These fit. Got mine in the every little helps shop.

Plastic drinks bottles fit well and if one of them goes flying the kids only get cold and wet.

The cup holders in the Superb are the bane of my existence

My 8oz glass keep cups don't fit properly and sometimes I'll forget and find that the cup has tipped to the side a little spilling coffee into the cup holder

I found a couple of cheap plastic tapered 13.5oz cups that jam in quite tightly ( with the help of some rubber bands) and act as an adapter to provide a bigger aperture for larger cups. This allows us to use two 16oz double-walled cups. It doesn't look great but it works well and is very secure.

Some proper decent laughs here, cheers all. :D  Schoda206, it's a fine plan but one I feel wouldn't pass muster with the lady - aesthetics is important, apparently!

UndertheRadar - would two of these bad boys fit? If so, I'll take a look next time I'm doing the weekly shop.

Thanks again and happy coffee-ing. :-)

Yes bud. Two of them fit perfectly.

Don’t drink and drive, simples

Škoda dealerships sell insulated mugs that fit.  We got one thrown in with the Karoq and it also fits my Yeti so I suspect the cup holders in a Superb are the same size.
