Hi i was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the vrs grille and rear badges and remove the fabia one aswell are they glued on or bolted, and is there any black ones i can purchase

Ive already ordered the colour coded skoda logo ones

The badges are easy to get off their on with sticky pads .use a heat gun/ hairdryer to heat up then use a plastic knife/ fishing line gently prize off/ work the line from behind badges from left to right. Try super skoda for the black fabia

Btw the front is 90mm and the back 80mm?

 

As for the grill do you mean the bonnet and surrounding part like the before and after pics of mine?if so the bonnet bit comes off with one screw and a bit of leverage the other bit is  more tricky its held in with plastic tabs that break very easily ( I left mine in place and painted on car)

So the badges you painted on? I just ordered the two i sent at the top and thought you need to pop out the skoda badges are they screwed in then?

No not painted. You are right they pop out but you need to heat them up first to loosen the glue

Okay thanks mate brilliant cant wait to fit mine is there a zoomed out pic of the back badge?

This badge from e bay was slightly wrong shade of green i have since painted the green bit with skoda Raleigh green

Why are you bothering to hide your number plate, it's public information, we even have a pinned topic here where people put their number plate and serial number so others can see on the VRS SE register?

Ha ha I'm not to good with technology and only just figured out how to do it so thought I would give it a go .I'm sure in some earlier posts my number plate is visible every day is a school day

Where would i get skoda rallye green paint if needed?

I used paints 4 you. matched the colour perfectly you can get a spray can or a  small touch up bottle

Would the skoda touch up paint be fine im assuming you apply the base coat then clear coat?

If you use the touch up you will probably get brush strokes. It's a pain in the arse but mask off the bits you don't want to paint and use the spray you will get a better finish

Sorry gave you a bum steer there it's paints 4u. Not sure how to do a link hope this helps

That's the touch up paint  comes with little aplicators to touch up stone chips/ small dings etc.

Oh brilliant i may just get the touch up even though you have advised to get the spray can just because think itll be easier rather than masking it all up and i can fill in a couple tiny marks that came with the car, thank you very much for all your help hope to post some of the finished results!
