Got a few strange problems cropped up with my 2010 Mk2 FL Octavia.   It started with a dim indicator light showing on the dash all the time, next the heater fan started to run really slow or not work at all. Today I noticed the DRL's are half the brightness they should be.   Car starts and drives fine.  Obviously looks like an electrical fault to me but anyone got any ideas on the cause ?

Try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins then reconnect see if that makes any difference.
