Anyways, a link to if its already here or an explanation of how easy difficult it is would be much appreciated 

Searching for something on a forum often isn't easy and I've found that doing a Google search is often easier  and will likely take you to the place you want to be

e.g.

 

There's a thread in the Octavia III section about fitting a reversing camera to the Octavia on an MQB platform and having taken a look it seems it should fit without coding to earlier Kodiaqs.  It's what I'll probably be trying when I finally get the car in a few days and have time.
