KESSY not always operating

Featured Replies

The KESSY key on my car started misbehaving again! This time I was ready with a new fob battery when the car said "No key Found". New battery made no difference even checked it's voltage to ensure it was good. Incidentally I had also tried the second key which it aslo said it couldn't find.

After hours of struggling to find help on the internet I ended up checking the fuses, just in case. I removed the KESSY fuse and after testing it which my meter confirmed to be OK. I pushed it back home. Low and behold the sytem then worked!

The car lives outside most of the time and I presume the fuse contacts may have become corroded.

Anyway relief! Now to crack on with the other problems, rear electric door struts begining to play up!
