Number replaces Bluetooth symbol on Infotainment screen - what is it?

Featured Replies

Hello. On my Scala's infotainment screen, a Bluetooth icon appears at the top when my phone is connected that way. That much I understand! However, many times that icon is replaced by a number in a circle. Mostly it's a '1', occasionally a '2', but has been as high as '9+'! I just can't understand what it's trying to tell me. It's not due to my phone as it shows even if there is no connected phone. Has anyone any idea what on earth it means? Thanks.

You're so right! I just looked and there was a software update available, so I let it update and now there's no number showing. Thanks so much!

Just one thing - where on earth is this documented? I haven't been able to find anywhere that describes the icons that appear at the top of the screen (though I can see them occasionally on screen shots). So frustrating!
