Bonnet open?

Been round and shut everything I can think off.........it went off last night but not the night before and it hasn't been used in between .....I'll check the bonnet switch and make sure it working OK later.

The alarm on one of my Fabias has annoyed me to no end.

The interior sensor (and sensitivity adjustment) is behind the interior light IIRC. Would be worth drying the "double lock" to disable the interior sensor and see if it stops....

I'd check the battery.

It used to happen in my rover on a regular basis and i ended up i having to disconnect it everytime i got out of the car to go somewhere  cos i couldn't afford a new one! :P

The battery didn't seem like it was goosed as it always started first time and the old faithful multimeter showed it was acceptible too but in the end i got so fed up looking for things i changed the battery and hey presto !:D :D

Yep as someone quite rightly said I used to have the exact same problem.

And guess what happened last night? It went off!! Thats the first time it's done it since I posted that topic, bit of a coincidence yours did aswell on the same night

Wow, my thread about this was posted nearly exactly a year ago to this thread!!

Must be the climate at this time of the year.

had same problem with my vrs,the AA have a fix for this problem.i just cant remember what it was.Dohh!!!

Haven't touched anything ........but it didn't go off last night

Going on the theory that the warm weather may be affecting the air volume in the car; went out last night, making sure I had windows open, so the now cool air could get in the car and equalise the volume inside the car, therefore when it cooled down at night, there was not such a change, as it was already cool. Et voila, no alarm :D

Whilst you may have prevented the alarm going off by doing that I think the theory is a little flawed.

If the cabin was that tightly sealed that you had to equalise pressures, you wouldnt be able to slam the doors. The early VW beetles has this problem and they diddnt ist up at all.

Has your Fabia had a double-glazing conversion ? ;)

Double glazing :D And it also has the latest in Jabba mods, a nice shiney white conservatory, complete with bamboo furniture.

complete with bamboo furniture.

Gotta be easier to keep clean than the standard covers. Not sure they'd be compatible with the heating elements though

I've never had this problem, although my dads Xsara did. He used to put a half squeezed empty 2l coke bottle in the car, and that used to solve the problem.

My Golf had a similar issue, but that was due to a battery that was long overdue a replacement.
