Broken Door Mirror Indicator Telltail...

Featured Replies

So some barsteward has clipped my drivers door mirror when it was parked and broken the little indicator tell tail on the end of the door indicator repeater. I found the bit but it’d been run over so it’s ruined. Does anyone know if the indicator strip is available as a spare or, (don’t tell me...) it’s a whole new bloody mirror housing?

Ahh that's super annoying. I'll be following this thread with interest, as my passenger side whilst still attached to the mirror, it is broken and wobbles around a bit, so definitely a design flaw!

At a guess, it's 3V0949101 and 3V0949102 depending on side.

They look to be the LED indicator for a MK3 Superb but as always, I'd suggest double checking.... :)

Brilliant, thanks langers2k.  I expect dismantling will be.. ermmmm... interesting!?

Heh, yup, I found an Octavia video but nothing for a Superb.

Hopefully it will be similar

Thanks again langers2k.

There seems to be several variations on aliexpress, but I guess any are a bit of a gamble until they arrive.

Thanks MartiniB. I’d rather stay original, so would you be able to sell me your original, or give me some help to dismantle the unit?

Thanks again MartiniB. Bought and replaced. Thankfully SUK had one in stock; it only took about 20mins to dismantle and reassemble. 👍🏻
