Wonder if it's clever enough to detect slurry spreading - doubt it though.

 

The two main reasons I switch on recirc being slurry spreading and smoke from fires - less frequently smoke from diesel buses.

Often though by the time you smell it and dive for the recirc button it is too late

 

Yep, it reacts quickly. I was approaching a blackstuff gang earlier today, travelling toward it quickly and even before I smelt it, the recirc came on. It’s kicked-in with smoke and diesel too. No idea about slurry spreading though!
