I purchased a used 2019 Octavia SE Technology Estate model in September 2020. The car has the Amundsen Infotainment system. The SatNav maps on the 32GB SD card with the car were out of date, so last year, I visited the Skoda update portal at https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/en-GB. I had no difficulty downloading and installing the latest maps.

I also have a portable TomTom SatNav, which receives new map updates every 3 months. I believe TomTom supply the maps for the Skoda Amundsen system.

When I visited Skoda's update portal today, I discovered that it has not been updated since last year and still offers map version ECE A1 2020/2021 (for the 32GB SD card). That version has been valid since CW25 2020 (I believe that means July 25th, 2020).

Am I looking for the update in the right place? If so, I am surprised and disappointed that the update portal does not show more recent updates.

however none of built in navigation can be compared to online systems such as Waze or Google Maps
