is there a one way valve in the system and where is it

or is there a joiner in the line

pump works when pressed and wiper works

i have no leakage under the car anywhere

The jet Noddles get easily blocked. This blockage can cause excess built up of pressure and you can find that the inside part of either your roofliner or your foot well fills up with water due to a burst junction connector or split pipe.

Make sure you use a reasonable quality washer fluid and you might also have scale build-up if you are in a hard water area.

I use my rear and front washers regularly to mitigate this. I use at least 25% screenwash concentrate all year round. The MK2 Octavia was also known to fill the boot with fluid if a pipe joint sprang . I adopted the same methodology.
